LIFE & ACCIDENT INSURANCE
As
a team player with PHH Mortgage, you will receive
life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance
(in the amount of one-and-a half times your annual
benefit salary) as a company-paid core benefit. You can
purchase
additional life insurance of up to 5 times your annual
benefit salary, with a maximum coverage level of $1,000,000.
You may also purchase up to 5 times your benefit salary
to a maximum benefit of $100,000 for your spouse,
and a coverage level of $5,000 or $10,000 for your dependent
children. Additional Accidental Death and Dismemberment
insurance, up to 5 times your benefit salary (to
a
maximum benefit of $1,000,000) is also available for
you and
your family. PHH Mortgage automatically provides
Business travel accident insurance to all eligible
team players equal to five times your annual benefit
salary, to a maximum of $500,000. |
DISABILITY
BENEFITS
If an illness or injury causes you to be absent
from work for an extended period of time, the income
loss could cause
serious financial problems. For this reason, PHH
Mortgage includes plans to protect your income if you become
disabled.
SHORT - TERM DISABILITY
After 6 months of employment, you
are eligible for a short-term disability benefit that
pays a scheduled benefit for
up to 26 weeks. PHH Mortgage provides core coverage
of 70% of your benefit salary for 12 weeks and 50%
for the remaining 13 weeks at no cost to you. You may purchase,
through payroll deductions, an additional 30% to increase
the amount of short-term disability coverage.
LONG - TERM DISABILITY
After 26 weeks of disability your
absence would be considered long-term disability. PHH
Mortgage provides core
coverage of 50% of your benefit salary at no cost to
you. You may purchase an extra 20% of long-term disability
coverage through payroll deductions.
